Her vessels do have the capacity to hold liquids as well as solids , and they are visually assertive. Taking inspiration from the bronze vessels of the early Chinese dynasties , Federico will throw a pot on the wheel , cut it in half, extend it to an oblong form with slab insertions, add feet and pinched-clay ear handles. The effect is generally more European Baroque than Oriental classic.Ó
