Lori Poole graduated from Auburn University
in 1993 with a B.A. in public relations/journalism and then in 1995
with a masters in communications. While in graduate school, she moved
to Birmingham to work at Southern Progress Corporation in the Southern
Living editorial department. Currently, Lori works in the corporate
communications department at Regions Financial Corporation as a creative
manager. She recently received a B.A. in art studio with a concentration
in graphic design from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. While
pursuing her art degree, Lori began honing her photography skills.
She has developed her skills through the years in black and white
as well as color photography. Her Polaroid transfers are currently
on display at Monty Stabler Galleries, and she has been honored in
numerous local art shows. Lori is a member of the Junior Patrons Board
of the Birmingham Museum of Art. She also serves as the artists coordinator
for Artwalk as well as the coordinator for Holiday Marketplace, both
of which are local art shows in the Magic City. |
