Artist statement

      Its all in the eyes of the beholder. I look to everyday objects that everyone can identify. It is the universal familiar subjects that have the power in a painting to provoke a viewer into a time of reflection. Seeing commonplace items portrayed in a new way brings amusement as well awe.

      My works are more than what our eyes see; they are a vision of a simpler, brighter world that exists in our imagination.
