WRIGHT, George (1860 - 1942) A very well respected painter of horses, his subjects were predominately of coaching, hunting, polo and other equine sports. He is perhaps one of the most widely published sporting artists, yet very little is known of his life. His work was well painted with much movement and has been the inspiration for many contemporary sporting artists. |
